Our junior/senior package is a personalized college search that includes everything: private, individualized college planning starting in junior year, ending with evaluating acceptances and financial aid packages in April of senior year. This is by far our most popular counseling package and provides what most parents are looking for in helping their junior in hgih school prepare for college.

This package includes 10 hours of private consultation ( to provide guidance, expertise, and strategic planning for all aspects of the college admission process and also includes our applications workshops. Most families start the process in spring of junior year.

Program Details

Working with experienced CLP advisors and attending our workshops, students will:

Junior year:
  • assess personal interests and skills Plus: Strengths Finder assesment
  • develop a criteria list for a college search (define what students want in a college)
  • explore potential majors and careers using MAPS
  • determine eligibility for different levels of selectivity and develop list of reach, match, and saftey schools
  • calendar of tasks, college visits, test dates, and things to do from junior to senior year
  • learn about great summer activities and additional extra curricular activities
  • students will learn how to turn college visits and admissions interviews into effective college prep tools
  • Summer before senior year: begin to draft and edit application essays
Senior year:
  • review the college list
  • revise and finalize all essays, including supplemental questions
  • complete all applications
  • GET IT DONE and TURN IT IN!
  • assess acceptances and aid packages in the Spring
